Dental implants and prostheses

Dental Implants

The loss of a tooth can affect essential functions such as chewing, as well as your psychological well-being. Dental implants offer a modern and long-lasting solution to remedy tooth loss or damage.

Implants preserve the bone structure of the jaw, which tends to resorb in the absence of teeth. Moreover, they provide superior comfort compared to traditional dental prostheses, thanks to their stability and natural integration into the mouth. With implants, the functionality of your teeth and jaw is restored, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile confidently, just like with natural teeth.

At Dental Geneva, the cost of a dental implant starts from CHF 2500.-

Consider dental implants as a long-term investment in your oral health. Their durability and effectiveness make them a cost-effective option in the long term, while significantly improving your quality of life.

Short implants: innovative and reliable

To avoid often invasive and risky bone grafts, we now prefer using short implants. These five to six millimeter implants work just as well as longer implants, provided their diameter is sufficient. They resemble small cubes and are particularly practical for simpler, quicker, and more cost-effective implantations.

Short implants are an ideal solution for replacing a molar in the upper jaw, where the sinus is located. This avoids invasive procedures in the sinus. To learn more, read our article on short implants.

Dental veneers and crowns

Dental veneers: thin layers of ceramic or resin, durably bonded to transform your smile.

Porcelain dental veneers are an ideal aesthetic solution for correcting chipped, uneven, or discolored teeth. Custom-made, they quickly and lastingly improve the appearance of your teeth. Generally applied to the front teeth, they are often accompanied by a whitening treatment for the other teeth, ensuring a harmonious smile. Resistant to stains and designed to last 10 to 15 years with good hygiene, veneers help maintain bright teeth even when consuming colored products.

In cases of more significant dental degradation, dental crowns offer a complete solution. They are particularly suited when the tooth structure is too damaged for more conservative treatments. Covering the entire surface of the tooth, unlike veneers that only cover the visible part, crowns restore both the aesthetics and functionality of teeth, especially after endodontic treatment or in cases of substantial tooth substance loss. They are also used to protect teeth that have undergone multiple treatments, thus preventing future fractures.
